Rob Meijer Joins Genesis Fertilizers Executive Team

Genesis Fertilizers LP is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Meijer as the company’s new Vice President, Strategic Alliances, effective April 22, 2024.

With over 25 years experience, Meijer held high-profile positions as CEO & Vice President of International Marketing/Business Development for Canada Beef Inc., and Executive Director, Corporate Affairs for Cargill Ltd – a global agri-business vertical leader. Most recently, he held the role of Vice President of Business Development, Marketing, and Sustainability for JBS Food Canada, the world’s largest value-add protein company.

In his new role, Meijer will be responsible for the company’s forward-looking corporate development specifically vertical and supply chain strategic alliances, joint ventures, and sustainability initiatives to further accelerate and solidly the launch of Genesis Fertilizers. His background in agri-business vertical and supply chain integration will be a key asset in positioning the company’s urea facility as a partner of choice, building enhanced confidence for Genesis shareholders and debtors.
